Although I have 21 years as a pianist and classically trained vocalist, I have always been most significantly inspired by emo and pop punk. As a teenager, I started writing music and released my first EP. I wanted to perform in spaces that resonated with my message, so it came naturally to coordinate my own shows, curate my own lineups, and handle all promotional aspects. That was how I ended up launching my own venue while still in my teens.
I began producing music while in college. Shortly after graduating, I challenged myself to write 100 songs within a calendar year. I wound up writing over 300 songs, leading to the release of 24 EPs and 1 LPs under the name K Raniero. This time period got me into graphic design, as I created the cover artwork for all releases. The releases were primarily EDM and classical.
A year later, I dropped my debut album under my current name and toured the USA to promote it. When not on the road, I worked as a street performer in New York City. With the connections I built touring, street performing, and throwing shows, I was able to create my own annual nonprofit music and arts festival.
Today, Iām known for blending jazz and hip-hip in an experimental way.
